Hi all. My name is Wes Matsel and I am an aspiring writer. currently I have only one book that has been published and that was done by me, but I haven't given up hope that good things are still to come.
My first book is titled "Threat Level: Severe" and as the name implies it's about another a terrorist attack within the United States. I have also completed the follow up to it, tentatively called "Cover of Darkness," but am having difficulties finding a publisher who's willing to take a chance on an unknown who isn't a reality TV star, a politician or an "octomom." I am also currently working on the third and possibly final book in the series.
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, I have written a warm and fuzzy children's book called "Sir Hops Not" about a bunny who is born with a physical handicap and overcomes it to save his friends from harm.
I love to write and it is my outlet and escape from the real world, but would like to turn my passion into a career. I have served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years, been married and divorced twice with three great kids, bounced from job to job and have realized that it's time for me to do what I love and to get paid for it.
